![]() ![]() ![]() The TranX can perform 4 types of tests. To select the test you want, push the test mode button. A LED is lit as each test is selected. Here is a summary of what each test will do. • Test solenoids - This test mode allows you to select each solenoid individually and to quickly test it. Solenoids are selected using the Gear up/down switches. Solenoid current, solenoid resistance and solenoid voltage can all be measured quickly and efficiently. This test is performed with the engine off and can also be performed on the bench. • Drive Transmission - Start the Engine! In this mode the TranX 2000 becomes a shifter. The vehicle's computer is automatically disconnected from the transmission and the TranX will now shift the transmission. All shifting information was programmed when the select code was entered. You are in control of functions such as lock-up, coast clutch and underdrive. Two identical % duty controls allow precise adjustments to be made within 1% duty. Need to know what is happening? Solenoid current, solenoid resistance and solenoid voltage either individually or all together can be displayed. Test points and BI-color LED’s also allow sensor outputs to be tested. Nice, huh? • Monitor Vehicle Computer - In this mode the TranX 2000 automatically becomes a monitor. Signals being sent by the vehicle's computer will be decoded and the gear called for by the vehicles computer will be displayed. Both duty displays will actively display (when utilized) the % duty being called for by the ECU. The TranX 2000’s digital multimeter & BI-color LED’s will enable you to quickly discover missing or weak signals from the computer harness of the vehicle to the transmission. Sensor information will also continue to be displayed by the sensor module. Something else in the engine system bad? You can monitor with the TranX and operate your scanner simultaneously! How's that for getting the full picture! • Special - This mode is for special tests unique to the transmission system. ![]() When most shop just guess if a solenoid is good or bad or they just change them because they can't test them costing the customer money. With the Sol-X Solenoid Dyno we can accurately
test and flush the solenoids saving you the customer money. With the Sol-X Solenoid Dyno we can test the solenoid to see if the flow of the solenoid is within factory specifications and also check to determine if there are any electrical malfunctions within the solenoid. This test is done
with transmission fluid at approximately 180 degrees, just as if it were in your vehicle. The Hot Flush cooler line flusher is one of the most necessary tools in today's transmission shops. It is used to clean the cooler lines and cooler tank of debris
that is left over from your damaged transmission. If left in those lines and tanks it could create problems with your new or rebuilt transmission. The machine is unique
as it flushes the transmission cooler system with hot transmission fluid and it also utilizes compressed air during the flushing process
to help force out all the the contaminants. ![]() benefits as well as the company that manufactures it click here ![]() Created with the CoffeeCup HTML Editor |
